Our foundation is rooted in a deep commitment to creating meaningful, lasting change through education and opportunity. We believe that when you invest in people, especially young women, you don’t just change individual lives, you transform entire communities.

Our approach is intentional and hands-on. We don’t simply fund initiatives, we support, nurture, and invest in programs with the power to create long-term impact. Guided by the belief that access to education, resources, and opportunity should never be limited by circumstance, we work to open doors, remove barriers, and empower the next generation to step fully into their potential.

Our mission is to empower young women through education by providing scholarships, mentorship, and resources that break down barriers for girls in Sub-Saharan Africa. With 70% of the population living at or below the poverty line (World Bank, 2021), access to free education in Zambia remains out of reach for many. The added cost of uniforms, books, and stationery often falls on families, leaving girls especially vulnerable to staying home and marrying young.

By focusing on students in grades 10 to 12, we aim to create a ripple effect that extends far beyond the classroom, strengthening families, communities, and future generations.

Today, the TBA Foundation supports 20 girls in Zambia through life-changing scholarships, opening doors to education, independence, and opportunity. This is about more than school; it’s about shifting futures and creating lasting change, one girl at a time. 100% of every contribution goes directly to education as all administrative costs are being covered by SIA Albums / The Boudoir Album. Every dollar donated makes a tangible difference.

Donations made to the TBA Foundation (US)  / The Lauder Family Foundation (CA) will receive an official tax receipt, issued in accordance with applicable regulations. Every contribution is recorded and acknowledged, ensuring you have the necessary documentation for tax purposes where eligible. Your support directly funds the education of girls in Sub-Saharan Africa, and we are deeply grateful for your generosity in helping create lasting change.

TARIFF UPDATE & SAMPLE SALE

We’d like to share a quick update regarding the recent 50% U.S. tariff and how it currently affects our products.

The good news is that most of our products are exempt from the new tariff. At this time, the products are affected:

A 50% tariff surcharge will automatically appear in your cart when ordering these 4 products. All orders placed before the tariff date will be shipped at no additional cost, with any applicable duties covered by us. We understand that this is not an ideal situation. As a small Canadian manufacturer, we are unfortunately not able to absorb this additional cost and must pass the tariff surcharge along on the affected products.

SHIPPING

Please note that additional delays may occur due to customs procedures and processing. The expedited shipping fee has also increased to $70 due to UPS’ surcharge increase.

SAMPLE SALE UPDATE

With some uncertainty around whether the current tariff rates will be permanent, we’ve decided to delay our September Sample Sale by a few weeks. We want to make sure we have a clearer picture before launching and avoid any unexpected changes or surprises. We’ll keep you updated and share the new dates as soon as everything is confirmed!
